Patricia Morgan served in the Rhode Island House of Representatives from 2011 to 2018 and was re-elected in November 2020. During her time in the House, she was a member of several committees, including the House Environment and Natural Resources Committee, the House Small Business Committee, the House Special Legislation Committee, the House Municipal Government and Housing Committee, and the House State Government and Elections Committee. Morgan has also served as the first female Minority Leader in Rhode Island's history. As a legislator, Morgan has advocated for educational excellence, lower taxes, and reforms to improve the business climate in Rhode Island. She has also worked as a financial advisor.
