Michael D. Crapo is a Republican Senator for Idaho who has been in Congress since 1993. He is currently serving on the Senate Finance Committee, the Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee, and the Budget Committee. He also serves on the Subcommittee on Securities, Insurance and Investment, the Subcommittee on National Security and International Trade and Finance, and the Subcommittee on Housing, Transportation and Community Development. Senator Crapo is the founder and co-chairman of the Senate Nuclear Cleanup Caucus, and co-chairman of the Heart and Stroke Coalition, and the Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency Caucus.
