Mariannette Miller-Meeks is the U.S. Representative for Iowa's 1st Congressional District, assuming office on January 3, 2023. Her current term ends on January 3, 2027, and she is running for re-election in 2026. In the 118th Congress (2023-2024), she was assigned to the Committee on Energy and Commerce, including the subcommittees on Environment, Manufacturing, and Critical Minerals, and Health, where she serves as Chairwoman. She was also assigned to the House Committee on Veterans' Affairs. During the 117th Congress (2021-2022), Miller-Meeks was assigned to the House Committee on Veterans' Affairs, the Committee on Homeland Security, and the Committee on Education and the Workforce.
