David A. Perdue Jr. is a Republican. He served as a United States Senator for Georgia from 2015 to 2021. During his time in the Senate, he was a member of several committees, including the Armed Services Committee, the Banking Committee, the Agriculture Committee, the Budget Committee, and the Foreign Relations Committee. He chaired the Sea Power Subcommittee within the Armed Services Committee, and the Foreign Relations subcommittee on State Department Oversight.
