Altarock Partners acquired 850 Thousand Visa shares worth $311 Million. That's 5.70% of their entire equity portfolio (7th largest holding). The first Visa trade was made in Q4 2014. Since then Altarock Partners bought shares seven more times and sold shares on thirteen occasions. The stake costed the investor $165 Million, netting the investor a gain of 88% so far.
The payment method could debut later this year.
